The Elysian Faith is a religion found in Elysium, and it purports the belief of a Sky Goddess who blessed the sky islands of Infaru.

Beliefs

The Sky Goddess, Elysia

Elysians believe in a Sky Goddess, named Elysia. However, the name is rarely used by Elysians, as they see calling the Sky Goddess her name as rude. The Sky Goddess is said to have rose the sky islands into the sky and blessed them with her ichor. She is a force from beyond the firmament, Elysians say.

Elysia's Blessing

Elysia's blessing is believed to be some sort of force that blocks the Elysian Realm, a catch-all term for the sky islands of Infaru, from being plagued by sin. Elysians say that this blessing is in the springs and waters of the Elysian Realm, which fall down to Infaru, blessing the surface, though not completely purifying it of sin.

The Elysian Realm

The Elysian Realm is a term to refer to all of the sky islands of Infaru. It is said to be the land betwixt the surface and firmament, and is thusly the most holy mortal realm in all of Infaru.

Elysian Realm Superiority

This belief that the Elysian Realm is more holy than the surface often leads to Elysians thinking that they are superior to the surface. Although this sense of superiority has died down since the founding of Infaru, it is still present and lurks amongst the minds of Elysians.

The Mistress of Clouds, Eden

Not to be confused with Eden, an Elysian outpost north of Pittsburgh.

The Sky Goddess is believed to have a mistress, Eden. She is said to be the original maker of the springs of the sky islands. When the sky islands rose, Elysia granted Eden the position of the Mistress of Clouds.

Weather in the Context of the Elysian Faith

Due to the fact that Elysians believe in Eden being the Mistress of Clouds, they also believe that her emotions are reflected by the weather:

• Rain symbolizes Eden feeling sadness.
• Snow symbolizes Eden feeling lonely.
• Sun symbolizes Eden being happy and with Elysia.
• Cloudiness symbolizes Eden being bored.
• Lightning symbolizes Eden getting anal or vaginal from Elysia's strap.

Elysian Waters

Elysian Waters are believed to have been blessed and are therefore the most pure waters of Infaru. Some Elysians even believe that the waters are infused with the literal ichor of Elysia. This results in many things, such as the slogan, "Justice flows across the surface of the waters." This is even represented in the iconography of the LGBT, which have teardrops on their symbolic scale.

History

The Elysian Faith originates from the very beginning of Infaru, when Elysium was founded. Since then, it has existed as a prevalent religion in the Elysian Realm.
