Named after legendary military strategist and commander Aloïs-Henri de Lébad, he is not expected to inherit any of his father's titles, and was granted the barony of Tours at the age of fifteen to placate him from his older brother Jean-François du Bois, the heir apparent to the County of Bois. | |||

Early Life
Born on Octidi 28th Vendémiaire 1648 at the Château du Bois, County Bois, Aloïs-Henri du Bois is the third child and second son of Jean-François Sébastien Christoph du Bois, Count du Bois, and Anne-Marie Valentine de Caen.
