This had the potential to be a major election Liberal-conservative Party. The LCP was the main party disputing most districts and despite the significant amount of independent candidates there was a real possibility of a major Liberal-Conservative victory.

The Liberal-Conservative Party ran uncontested in district 1. In both districts 3 and 4 a Liberal-Conservative ran against an independent. A Faru In The Stars! candidate contested against the Liberal-Conservative candidate in d3. 5 Candidates signed up for the Party List district seats 2 of which were Liberal-Conservatives whilst the others were independent.

Results

The election resulted in a historic Liberal-Conservative victory. The party gained 3 of the 5 seats they contested and achieved a supermajority in senate.
