Aréole, officially the Kingdom of Aréole, is an Absolute Monarchy in western[2] Meridia. As a state, it is comprised of various fiefdoms; it has been ruled by the House of Lébad for over a millennium through the Crown of Aréole.
Aréole has existed for over a thousand years in some way or another, however some scholars debate whether it should be considered one continuous entity or not.
