The Whig Party was a regionalist party in the south of Faru with its headquarters in Liberty City. Despite its small membership, it remained relevant in Farun politics for several months, often being a kingmaker in the Senate.
History
The origins of the Whig Party are nebulous, with the only real member for most of it's history being Zeek Quintus. It became known to most Faruns after the May 2024 Senate Elections, and lingered on as Liberty City kept voting for it.
Liberal-Conservative Alliance (May - July 2024)
During its early days, the Whig Party allied with the Liberal-Conservative Party, often voting alongside it, however strongly advocating for Liberty City's regional currency, the Denarius.
