The faction's most notable event was the walkout controversy that occurred during the Constitutional Convention. Due to straining circumstances that the Liberal Caucus were facing, they were forced to walk out of the convention. The Socialist faction, despite this, continued the Convention. Upon word spreading, a militia was sent to cease the convention until further notice, so the Liberals could participate.
The Socialist faction, following the convention, had one other success, by electing [[Wanda Ward Jr.]] to the Presidency of Faru. She was oft maligned as a "do nothing". The PSDP later reformed into the [[Faruan Labor Front]], beginning the Laborite branch of Farun parties.
