History and Biography
Born in 1648 Mithral was born in a town named Alfost to a Carpenter. His mother dying while giving birth, his father raised him alone. At a young age he was already interested in science, engineering and the wonders of the sea. As he grew up he spent his life in books, scientific journals and in his fathers workshop. HE started to experiment in different fields of science and learning much of the science world. He started to become know around his town as a young promise. at the age of 16 with his father, they built a small corvette with which he won many ship races with. With his best friend Alex, Mithral observed the stars and learned to brew. His skills in not only ship building but in brewing, astronomy, biology and science as a whole led him to be summoned by the King of Vilia to adventure the new world, and to expand Vilia into a new age. At the age of 18, Mithral set sail for his first voyage. unto a new land in the north. He started one of the first colonies in the Winterlands called new Alfrost after his home town. During his stay in New Alfost, his father died of a gun shot. The person responsible was a Areolian. But Mithral decided to not blame Areole as a whole, as he understood the dangers of such, he only had hatred for the murderer. After his settlement in the Winterlands, Mithral set sail towards new lands near Anguille. On his voyage he encountered Pirates, that greatly outnumbered him. After a quick surrender, Mithral was plundered and only left with a corvette and a bottle of absinthe. He rode on for the next 2 days until arriving in Anguille, where he quickly felt unwanted as a Vilian. after resupplying, he sailed on onwards. Where he lives now, in the New Colonies of Vilia.
Trading Career
Mithral soon after settling into the New Colonies of Vilia became an established trader. where he found much growth, becoming a wealthy merchant by his first few months. Soon after in 1670 he encountered pirates in the harbor, who robbed part of his new money. stunting his progress in sending money back home to Vilia.
Skirmishes in New Heaven
After the ordeals with the pirates in 1670, he started works on a new project. a brewing project. after this brewing project was prepared he sold absinthe, to some of hte people in New heaven. Who loved it. But became so fond of it they started shooting civilians. the peple soon started to hate not only absinthe but started to hate Vilians even more. Running to his ship he tried to sail off before the crowd of angry navy guards arrived. but he was blocked in by other ships. He hid in his ship quarters until he was called for a duel, by one of the absinthe lovers, named Flameheart. Flameheart was the main killer of the civilians and was still supported in the fight against Mithral. Mithral accepted the duel. Losing the fight with a bullet to his shoulder. the civillians cheered. Moving the ships Mithral left. With a bloody shoulder and a sad confusion of why they hated him.
