Velik iz Dunska
Velik iz Dunska ("from Dunsk") is a Farun Senator and the first Premier of the Republic of Faru. She was very happy the Empire died because then the previous count who was given mining rights in the desert by the kings could be forgotten and Velik could start to mine there, building up some solid wealth. Her parents deeply cared about her education and so sent her to a boarding school in what is now in the Bloatian Republic where she learned to read and started to form liberal ideas.

While she at school, she started to see what the restriction of trade under the various counts and dukes and nobles of the Empire did to it and talked with people who talked about what was going on to the east in Areole and how it had a great prosperous free market because they had thrown off the nobility many years ago. Because of this, Velik has a general fondness for Areole and all that it does, its great parliament and free markets were a great inspiration which is now apparent in the Constitution of the Republic of Faru with the slight addition of a president to keep the parliament in line.
