Tlazo (/tɬa'so/ TLAH-soh (it/its); ??? – August 8, 2023, September 13, 2023 – Present), also known as Tulis Ophiuchus or Tulis Ufayekis, is a veteran builder, philosopher, former religious priest, explorer, and cartographer. It made the first hand-drawn map of Infaru in addition to aiding in the foundation of the town Léon, which it is currently the mayor of. Tlazo has written a plethora of verses for the Pumpkinist faith and was one of the key founders of the Church of the Great Pumpkin, constructing the first of its kind in Léon; moreover, Tlazo had a primary role in developing one of the first calendar systems of Infaru. Tlazo would help integrate a road system in the North and Southeast districts of Infaru and has been commissioned to make several maps and paintings for the official Government.

Tlazo played a prime role in keeping the pumpkinist belief on its feet, such as creating donations for the church, going on pilgrimages to other lands, and condemning melon-based imagery in eloquent wording in the Book of Tlazos. Yet after its absence from the 8th of August to the 13th of September, 2023, the religious movement slowly died out following the conflict of the Y'Iran'e Rebellion. Tlazo now resides within the Southeastern town of Al-Xamra.

After around 36 days (about 12 in-game years), Tlazo would make a miraculous return to its hometown of Léon on the 13th of September (26 Zo., 13 A.C.) after having blacked out from a phantom attack. Tlazo claims it "never felt like a day even passed," and physically appears to have not aged above its original age (26 in-game) since its disappearance.

Early life

Tulis, born Tulis Ophiuchus, is to have been speculated as to where its origins are from, yet some theories claim that they are related to or a descendant of the heir to the throne of Pittsburgh-Urbis. The earliest records of the presence of Tulis is in the Day 1 census of Cálend, where Tulis was present when Renarchat and others migrated to what is now present-day Léon.
