The Salinisians are a Spartacian ethnic group settled primarily within the Eastern regions of Aréole and small settlements across the border in the Kommonwealth of Tarantum. It is the only Spartacian group of which most of its members live outside of a Spartacian-majority kingdom.

Double-Barreled Names
Due to the widespread use of double-barreled given names in Aréole, where the vast majority of the Salinisians live, the Salinisians began employing their own double-barreled name conventions. This naming convention is mostly used among more urban Salinisians, especially in Volnitsa, though it has spread to rural communities and even among some Tarantinians living in Aréole.
The double-barreled name is formed from a parent's name, depending on the gender of the child (the father's name is used for a son and the mother's name for a daughter), along with a given name.
Unlike the Aréolois, the double barreled name is not often used outside of documentation or formal settings. Often just the given name is preferred, though Salinisians may prefer to use he entire double barreled name or even just their parent's name if that name carries weight of fame, or for other reasons.
