Aiden Costello is a journalist, lawyer, and former politician who served as the 3rd Premier of Faru from August 2 to 22, 2024, as well as the 3rd Treasurer of Faru from July 18 to September 11, 2024. Despite his ostensibly socialist leaning, his policies as Treasurer were relatively orthodox; he rapidly expanded the proliferation of the Farun Lira as well as allowing banks to purchase Lira directly from the government, decentralizing the Farun banking system. Politically, he passed the Emergency Votes and Residency Acts, which form the basis for modern Farun voting law. The former of those arguably ensured the victory of NFL colleague Aleksandr Novak in the August Senate Runoff in Urbis. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the North Shore Free Press, the predominant newspaper of Providence.
