Artisan

The Artisan role is a profession. Artisans are responsible for creating and maintaining leather armor, smelting raw ores, and crafting unique items such as all redstone contraptions, dyes, armor trims, banner patterns, and minecart rails.

Uses

Artisans gain access to the following unique crafting recipes:

• Leather armor
• Leather horse armor
• All dyes
• Loom
• Anvil
• Smithing table
• Grindstone
• All armor trims
• All banner patterns
• Clocks and compasses
• All redstone products
• All types of rails

Artisans can smelt all raw ores.

Artisans can repair or grind anything they're capable of crafting.

Artisans can gain experience from crafting, repairing, grinding, smelting, smithing, and looming.

• Smelting diamonds, emeralds, coal, lapis lazuli, and redstone yields 2 instead of 1
