Elias Farwell is the current Minister of Defense, Inspector General of StatPol. First Character of Shakir.

Backstory

Born in 1882 to a Mulgarian fishing family, he developed an interest in technology and trade while working on cargo ships, eventually building a successful shipping and trade company. Following the 1916 military coup and the rise of socialism in Mulgaria, his assets were seized, and his company was converted into a workers' cooperative. Elias was forced to flee and settle in Faru with his family. He had to liquidate his foreign investments over the next decade to rebuild his fortune and pursue new ventures in Faru.

Early Life in Faru (1916-1925)

Elias Farwell had settled with his Family at the mouth of the River Austrey, East of Winterfell. During this decade, he had to constantly travel to foreign countries to regain his wealth.

Life in Faru (Early 1926)

After regaining some wealth, Elias Farwell returned to fully settle in Faru and planned to build Infrastructure like a Dam and a Port for Winterfell.

Though after the Mayor of Winterfell, Delphin Feucoeur was assassinated. Elias Farwell decided to move South-West, to Markarth. After constructing a hot air balloon, he was able to move with all of his items to the hills East of Markarth. Changing his infrastructure plans accordingly. During this short period, he donated to the construction of a research center at Khenozhuryvka and also invested in Whiskey Creek before shortly withdrawing it due to joining State Police.

Early Career in StatPol (Late 1926)

Elias Farwell's first duty as a police officer was to protect the Chief Justice Loga Dukakis at the hearing for Republic v Æsël Blanch case 5 I.J.R. 2 (11/24), during this hearing, state police were also ordered to investigate the break-in at Æsël Blanch's residence in Markarth and collect evidence regarding the case at the FMA Office in Markarth. Elias Farwell was also assigned to this investigation along with Jesse Rosting and Alexei Popovic. He also worked as court guard again for the trial, after which he arrested and processed Æsël Blanch once they were convicted.

During this investigation, he also realized the state of disarray the police department was in and assisted in the first reorganization efforts of StatPol. He also worked on the investigation into the multiple assaults at the Gleek National Convention, before that case was dropped. For which he was promoted to Lt. Inspector.

After a protest turned into riot at the hearing for Republic v Arno Fleischer case 5 F.J.R. 4 (11/24) injured multiple police officers, the police decided to upgrade their gear further. Originally they decided to ask for donations through a non profit enterprise "Friends of Statpol". Later on, the Minister of Interior, decided to purchase diamond armor for Statpol. Elias Farwell sold 3 such sets for a break even price.
