Ridiwan (Ciotterman:Ridighan Kermanish) is an island in the Carpesian Archipelago northwest of Carpesia. Despite it being small in size the island is remarkable for it's height, with it's highest point being nearly 80 meter above sea level. It is a popular destination for Cajra pilgrims for its religious significance to them.

Etymology

The Ciotterman word for Ridiwan, "Ridighan Kermanish" means "Kermanish's peak" refering to the impressive height of the Island. Following the settlement of Carpesia by Areoleans the name was modified, most notably, removing the reference to the cajra divine.

History

Ridiwan was mostly insignificant throughout most of its history, the first evidence of human presence in the island was after the cajra arrival in the Carpesian Archipelago. The island became a site for pilgrimages for cajra, specially for those living in the carpesian archipelago, due to its impressive geography.

Geography

The entirety of the island is a mountain with its lowest point being about 40 meters above sea level. The island's height varies significantly, it is mostly covered by a forest biome, with a stony shore.
