Sebastian Azud, also known as Subc0mandante, was a Faruan citizen, organizer, and miner. They worked for the Mineral Mining Company and resided in its town. Azud was one of the founding members of the Revolutionary League of Shop Stewards.

Biography

Sebastian grew up in the back country of Faru, born to a tanner by trade, they had made ends meat by hunting wild game and selling the hide. The cabin to which they had grown up in was caught in the cross fire of a local skirmish. Between hired guns of a local mill press and the striking workers. Their cabin, along with their father were set ablaze in the heat of battle, neither recovered from the charred remains. However during the skirmish one of the striking mill workers named Pavel had protected the then juvenile Sebastian from the fight. Pavel, a communist organizer from another nation, then would help raise young Sebastian, teaching them to read and understand theory and strategy.

Mineral Mining Company and Revolutionary League

On the picket line one day government troop had fired on the mill workers, killing Pavel, leading to the further destruction of the militant labor presence in the factory and it's eventual shutdown. Sebastian would then take odd jobs in demolitions and quarry manufacturing. Later hired by the Mineral Mining Company to be a miner in April of 2024. Sebastian would soon become the captain of the company's mining operations as well as the secretary of the company town. Though as the working conditions were awful, Sebastian would then help found the Revolutionary League of Shop Stewards in the town to combat unfair wages and lack of protective gear on site. With union demands won, the RLSS had now begun forming greater influence in the locality among workers.

April 23rd Revolution

Main Article: Divesk Revolution

Sebastian was be pivotal in the manifestations on the 23rd of April against company rule in the Mineral Mining Company Town. It was they who rallied the local Revolutionary League chapter to militantly support the growing riots. They stormed the headquarters and announced to the world the creation of the Miners' and Soldiers' Council of Divesk and the reorganization of the Mineral Mining Company into the Institutional Mining Company. By popular vote that day, Azud was appointed as the head of the new council.

Attempt at elections

Following the crushing defeat of the left-reformist People's Social-Developmental Party at the May 2024 Senate Elections, the party sought a new program and leadership. The revolutionary was invited for the occasion. Quickly Azud changed the name of the party to the Farun Labor Front and radicalized its program. However, this caused a stir with the moderates who left the party causing its collapse. The moderates quickly formed the New Farun Labor party.

Return to Divesk

Following the failure of electoral politics, Azud returned to Divesk and its revolutionary government. They would contribute to the construction of public infrastructure and policy though they laid back in regards to debates about strategy. They participated in the Revolutionary Divesk Congress and tragically met the same fate of mysterious disappearance on the 13th of September. It is not known if they are dead or simply in another world.
