House de Remuva
The House de Remuva is an Aréolean family from the County of Rochefort, established during the Second JJR Era by the lords of the fief of Remuva. They came from the knightly class, owing military service to the Count of Rochefort in return for the possession of titled landed estates. Originally only holding the title of lords, the House was raised to title of marquis by Letters Patent in 1562 following their bravery during the War of the Eight Women Generals. The family's name originates from their earliest ancestors who were forest removers.
