The House de Remuva is an Aréolean family from the County of Rochefort, established during the Second JJR Era by the lords of the fief of Remuva. They came from the knightly class, owing military service to the Count of Rochefort in return for the possession of titled landed estates. Originally only holding the title of lords, the House was raised to title of marquis by Letters Patent in 1562 following their bravery during the War of the Eight Women Generals. The family's name originates from their earliest ancestors who were forest removers. The House follows a male-preference (cognatic) primogeniture to determine succession.

The house has several cadet branches in various places of the world. For example, there is a cadet branch named Remuva-Yuzil (called simply Remuva by the locals) in the island of Reauce in the Principality of Carpesia.

Disputed

There were theories and rumours that the official spokeperson for the insurgent group ADA, D. E. Remuva, was a member of House de Remuva due to a similar biography, politics and name. However, D. E. R. had denied any connection. This remained so until they relieved in 1929 that they are related to the previous Divesk revolutionary de Remuva, as their younger sibling. This makes them the current head of House de Remuva. However, if Remo Remgélique Rémy Roberto de Remuva is still alive, as their death is unconfirmed due to the nature of their disappearance,
