Ciotterman Empire
The Ciotterman Empire is an imperial realm that controls parts of Northwest Meridia, East Ocsia, and South Ifria starting from the 12th century A.J. (After Jean). They have an extensive navy and many trade ports which have made them quite wealthy.
The empire emerged from a garveh, or roving warband, started in c. 1169 by the Jangavar warriors who came to the area and conquered the “Bridge of Continents”, the latest of various groups to do so in history. Led by Ali Ciotrman, later known as Cioterman I, the Jangavar warriors sailed from far away until they landed at the intersection of continents right as the previous empire in the area was falling into chaos. Once beginning to settle their newly gained lands, they began to get to know the local peoples and recruit them into the warband to expand their claims. The Jangavar got to know the Kıgı peoples of the area well and began to integrate their differing language and culture with their own to some degree.
The word Ciotterman is a historical areolization of the name of Ciotrman I, the founder of the Empire and of the ruling House of Ciotrman (also known as the Ciotterman dynasty). In Citotterman Kıgısh, the common language of the empire, the empire was referred to as Devlet-i ʿAlīye-yi ciotrmānīye, lit. 'Sublime Ciotterman State', or simply Devlet-i ciotrmānīye, lit. 'Ciotterman State'.
Subjects of the Empire are known for their pride and cuisine.
