Felix Loupius (born February 27, 1904) is a Farun politician, lawyer, and a Member of the Southern Regional Assembly.

Loupius was born in Kroletfaru under the Slorbo-Glormorian Empire, and attended the University of Glorbitz. He however does not have any degree or formal higher education beyond two years of Anthropology studies. Loupius returned to Faru in 1925 with hopes to make a living off the reputation of his famous parent, Chaton Loupius.

After a few years spent bar crawling, flirting with fascist movements and pointlessly agitating crowds, he drunkenly accepted to represent the desperate Premier of the Senate, Andrej Sobczyk in what was thought to be an unwinnable case, dropping the career ruining felonious charges he was facing and making a name for himself as a lawyer, despite his lack of legal experience or credentials.

Loupius is a founding member of the Southern People's Alliance, and an outspoken supporter of Social Democracy, under this banner, he was later appointed as interim Magistrate of the City of Urbis, and became the first member of the Southern Regional Assembly for District A.

Early Life

Loupius is the son of famous Farun politician, Chaton Loupius, and their less famous transgender boywife. He however had very little of a relationship with Chaton, as they were too preoccupied with being part of the Farun revolutionary liberal underground to tend to their many childen. At the young age of 13, Loupius was sent to Glorbitz, Shlorbo-Glormoria, to study in a prestigious private high school. He stayed in the imperial capital for all of his teenage years, and stayed followed his graduation, choosing to study anthropology at the University of Glorbitz.

He however did not last long, studying there from 1921 to 1923, until he left, blaming his poor grades on the leftist ideology of his teachers. He was deported from Glormoria for being a miscreant soon after, arriving in Faru in the year 1924.

Political Career

1924 (September 2024)

He hoped to make a living using the great reputation of his parent, however found little success, instead developing alcoholism and briefly joining the Farun Vanguard Party in 192. He participated in a controversial speech, which led to the party imploding on itself and led Loupius to go lay low for the following year.

1926 (November 2024)

Loupius returned to mainstream Farun life following his involvement in the southern regionalist movement, agitating anti eastern sentiment and helping organize a referendum for a southern regional government. Following this, he helped found the Southern People's Alliance, a social-democratic party focused on revitalizing the southern region. It known that the reason Loupius pivoted away from fascism is that he read a book and found social-democracy to be a better idea.

Following progressive reforms in Urbis City, Loupius was appointed as interim magistrate for the city.

He ran in the Regional Assembly elections of 1926 as a member of his own party, and narrowly won the race in super-district A, starting a career as a local legislator.

Legal Career

Loupius, despite not having a law degree, is a prominent Farun lawyer, both prosecuting several high profile cases as part of the Censorate, and defending Faruns against said Censorate's actions.

His legal debut was defending the premier, Andrej Sobczyk, against several severe felonious charges. He managed to reach an agreement with the prosecution to get the charges dropped. He was then picked up as a part-time prosecutor by the Censorate, unsuccessfully prosecuting Arno Fleischer on charges of embezzlement. He also successfully prosecuted, alongside Gaul Soodman, the president of the republic Ljuba Milenkovic for rioting.

Policies

Felix Loupius is a social-democrat, a southern regionalist as well as a presidentialist. He has not been in government long enough for his concrete policies to transpire, however this section will be amended as soon as it becomes clearer.
