Tarbor
Appearance
Tarbor (Carpesian:Souinca) is an island in the Carpesian Archipelago west of Picito. It is the second largest island of the archipelago, and within it is the city of Tumul.
Etymology
The word Tarbor was given to the island by the Areoleans when they first arived in the island, meaning "Tree" in the language of Areole.
The native word for the island "Souinca" roughly means "Forest Island"
History
Ancient
There is evidence to suggest ancient settlements across the bay in the south of Tarbor.
Geography
The island is mostly covered in forests. To its east there is an area with hills mostly unpopulated by large flora. In its south there is a bay.
Notable features
To the east of Tarbor there is a tall mountain and a steep cliffside.
