The Institutional Mining Company (IMC), formerly the Mineral Mining Company (MMC), previously known as the Copper Mining Company (CMC), is a Faruan Diveskite institutional governing company for mining and production activities part of the Miners' and Soldiers' Council of Divesk. Founded in 2024 by De_Remuva, the company is headquartered in the in the revolutionary town. A division of the company produces explosives. The workforce is organized by the Revolutionary League of Shop Stewards, locally headed by Subc0mandante.
History
The company was founded as the Copper Mining Company on the 13th of April and was set up in the far northeast of Faru. It had the goal of mining copper but as copper was cheap and profits were slow De_Remuva changed the name to the Mineral Mining Company on the 15th. It was also on that date that Subc0mandante joined the company. On the 16th, Chaton, the then-mayor of Urbis City, announced the opening of land for settlement for the purpose of mining. De_Remuva took up the offer that same day, establishing the Mineral Mining Company Town that day. Expansion was slow and gradual, with a creeper farm established and many ores collected. The company organized Commodity Brigades as a means of transporting the products sold to other cities, such as Liberty City.
Revolution
On the 23rd of April, due to discontent with the low wages, the workers (including De_Remuva) stormed the company and town headquarters and declared the Miners' and Soldiers' Council of Divesk and reorganizing the company into a part of the new revolutionary settlement named the Institutional Mining Company. De_Remuva was made its General Secretary. The new company would create a contract with the Cossacks.
