Decomberousse Eschassériaux Remuva (née as Rohn Robert Romain Renard de Remuva), known simply is D. E. Remuva, is a Faruan insurgent and peasant.

History

Background

Of Aréolian ancestry, D.E.R. lived in the poor rural countryside of Faru to a peasant family. When the Mineral Mining Company Town was announced following the preemption of the land, D.E.R. saw it as an opportunity to obtain a living away from agricultural work. However, the conditions of the company town were horrific and harsh on the young peasant. Though not a member of the revolutionary movement that toppled the company town, they were heavily affected by it. Seeing an increase of a quality of life following the revolution, D.E.R. became a fanatic for the movement.

Divesk Activities

They joined the local Revolutionary League of Shop Stewards in order to obtain an education in regards to the world of radical politics. Growing up as a young adult in the revolutionary town meant an early exposure to participation in the politics in their life. However, by the middle of the Revolutionary Divesk Congress, they were called back to their small rural community due to a family emergency. When they returned, everyone was gone. They saw in the Independent Industry News that everyone mysteriously spontaneously vanished.

Washed

Distraught from the events in Divesk, they quickly turned to banditry. Such a life produced little success or joy. Though their revolutionary hopes and dreams still flashed strong in their heart. Drunkenly going from town to town, ever depressed of a lost world; they jolted up with excitement upon hearing the news of the St. Olga commune and the work of the Federation of Mutualists and Agrarians. Wanting to reawaken the possibility of another world, D.E.R. set out to join the FMA and their commune.

Insurgent Activities

They joined the organization shortly after the uprising was put down. They spoke to the FMA organizers and communards who accept their admission. With experience from Divesk, D. E. R. aided in the establishment of the Auxiliary Defensive Army and the Common Autonomous Territories. They were appointed as the group's spokesperson, announcing the groups existence on the 16th of December. During the December 2024 elections, Remuva organized a showcase of peaceful resistance by blocking the entrance to many of the polling stations through wheat blocks. The wheat was accompanied by barrels with a political communiqué lambasting the recent murder of a wandering villager.

On the 8th of January, the Supreme Court of Faru issued an arrest warrant for Remuva. They responded mockingly, calling the court the "Most Horrible Sophime Court of Fart-u" and denying the charges of treason and terrorism. The Faruan authorities failed to catch Remuva who continued their insurgent activities.

As the December elections had a few ties, Remuva took it as an opportunity to influence the Faruan state. The tie was in Remuva's local electoral district between the FMA's Sengi Visaru and the Progressive Party of Faru's Delphin Feucoeur. After discussing with FMA/ADA members, the group constructed a plan. They'd make a deal to electorally support Feucoeur in exchange of a continued flow of weapons to ADA. Remuva spoke to Feucoeur and they agreed. However, in order for the group to electorally support Delphin, she'd need to hand a few weapons first as an insurance of good will. She agreed. When the weapons exchanged occurred the day before the by-election, Remuva secretly took photos of the candidate for blackmail. The ADA obtained several weapons, including a tank. Feucoeur became the Premier of Faru afterwards.

Delphin Feucoeur became aware of the blackmail when Ken Rosenberg, the then-Censor, found the pictures in Sengi's home as part of a secret raid of the State Police. Sengi informed Remuva of his copy of the images being lost, meaning now they knew that others know about the intention of blackmail and of Feucoeur's electoral malpractice and treason for aiding the ADA. The blackmail conspiracy became null when the Delphin retired due to the growing suspicion of her treason.

On January the 16, Remuva published a communiqué criticism an interview they were a part of printed by the left-wing VIZIONAR journal. For what they saw as a misrepresentation and misunderstanding of the politics of ADA and CATAC. On February 23rd, 1929, with the growing success of the CATAC despite the blockade, the ADA published, written by Remuva, that the revolution is forever, that they had the "Minister of army" in their "pockets" (most likely referring to the Feucoeur situation) and that Remuva is related to the still-missing Divesk revolutionary Remo de Remuva.
