Victory Point (Carpesian: Miqaaqam) is a small island in the Carpesian Archipelago, sitting between Tarbor to the north and Carpesia (island) to the south. Being insignificant in size, it is not currently settled by anyone, but there is a small unmanned dock on its shore for travelers coming and going between Carpesia and Tarbor.

Etymology

The Carpesian word for Victory Point, Miqaaqam, comes from the Carpesian words aaqam (to rise, swell; point, tip; thorn) and miq (to take hold of). Its name only came about in the 16th century, and was before then considered a part of Tarbor and not named separately.

History

Victory Point has been an insignificant island with no settlements for centuries. The name itself only came about after 1632 after the 1632 Siege of Carpesia. The pivotal naval battle transitioned into a ground battle on the small island, with the Slorbians and their Carpesian supporters gaining the upper hand.

Geography

Victory Point has very unremarkable terrain and has no forests. It has a single hill and valley.
